Introduction

Welcome to Books and Stories Online, a literacy resource with adventure at its heart! Working with Read Dog and Neville the Novel you will think like authors and illustrators to learn about how stories come to be as well as have the opportunity to practise skills to help you become even better at reading.

Books and Stories Online is for any child in school years 5 or 6 and to be accessed at home either independently or with the support of an adult.

Before you set off on your adventure in the wonderful world of Books & Stories, we invite you to take a moment to complete our 10-question quiz so we can all learn what you already know.

Don’t worry if you don’t know many answers – you will have plenty of opportunities to learn and practise during each session!
